ABOUT THE LABWelcome to our LabOur laboratory specializes in Marine Biology and Aquaculture, focusing on how environmental conditions (water temperature, acidification, pollutants, HABs) and nutrition affect fish ontogeny, form, function and welfare.
By combining experimental research with applied science, we work toward the monitoring, control, and improvement of farmed fish quality, supporting innovation in modern aquaculture and responsible use of aquatic resources. The lab was established in 2011 following the appointment of G. Koumoundouros at the University of Crete (UoC). |
